The lodge was lovely and clean, but the location wasn't great as i have a gluten free diet we had to drive to Ripon but we found a nice restaurant luckily which did have food

Lovely hosts, lots of nice walks near by or not far away, village has everything you need, bus to York and Thirsk, cafe, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets
