This is an authentic experience of staying in a small village accessible only by small dirt tracks. If you are expecting a B&B like what you get in a larger town then this is not for you. But if you want to experience Armenian village life then it is fantastic. The host and owner of the house speaks no English but he calls his daughter in Yerevan and she speaks good English and can interpret. I had trouble finding the house, my fault entirely, I messaged the property via booking.com and immediately got help from the daughter to find the house. The room was basic but comfortable. The shower was warm, he had to help to turn the water on and power on to get the shower to operate. Dinner was simple but good, I am a hungry bicycle tourer and I was well fed. Breakfast was simple and good. The daughter was very helpful on the phone. For a basic accommodation and genuine experience of Armenian village life I highly recommend this place.

The host was welcoming and we ate delicious traditional food. We spoke little English but were about to communicate. We felt like we saw the real Armenia, just what we wanted. Enjoyed the small village, everyone was friendly and welcoming.
