I had unusual requirements but unfortunately The weather was really wet & I was traveling with my 97 year old mother so it was not easy getting her up & down wet, uneven pathways with very poor lighting. I should have found accommodation purposely built for people in wheel chairs etc. As a family my mother used to accompany me to Murramarang with my children so this was a special trip down memory lane for her & myself! The wooden floor in our unit was still wet when we arrived at about 3.30pm & it was still quite damp in places in the morning - it gave off a rather unpleasant smell. The coverlet in one of the rooms was not clean & I brought this to the attention of staff. I was disappointed to find plastic children’s toys littering the beach & broken outdoor furniture littering the sand as well. Guests had placed wooden furniture on the beach & it was within reach of the waves & had obviously been pounded to bits by the sea - just sad to see a lack of care to property by guests & staff. Overall it was disappointing to see a high-charging resort look a bit bedraggled but the wet weather was not their fault but poor infrastructure maintenance is.
