Perfect location, beautiful vineyard hike right behind. Close to Durnstein and Krems. Lovely views, and outside areas. Spacious and clean. Had a wonderful stay!

Great location, 3 min walk to the river, 20 min walk to the town of Durnstein. Free parking nearby but you need to go 2 min uphill. It was not a problem for us but this is something to consider. Very comfortable bedding, we had a very good sleep. Also, the apartment is very warm and cozy in October. The apartment is equipped with everything needed, including morning coffee.

A perfect stay in Wachau! The highlight was the evening barbecue with friends – wonderful atmosphere, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!

We stayed for one night at Rothenhof 5 while on a short cycling tour in the Wachau. The house shares a small inner yard and terrace with grill with another small apartment, which makes it suitable for larger groups too, when renting both (ours was for 6 persons, I think the other one can fit 4). It is located close to the vineyards, beautiful views, quiet place. Very close to the cycling path and the next village is 10 minutes walk - where one can eat out in the evening. Wachau is a very beautiful region with lots of tourism and certainly worth visiting - in this context we found the price we paid very reasonable. Comfortable and nice interiors, kitchen well equipped (at least for short term travellers, we didn't miss anything). Coffee machine and enough coffee capsules provided. For wine lovers, there is a cellar and a selection of wines (at extra cost). We would love to go back and stay longer one day.
