The location was good as it is near to Durham and easy to find. The staff were pleasant and the room was clean.

Lovely hotel with very spacious comfortable room with own ensuite . Super comfortable bed and pillows . Very clean . Loved being able up make a cuppa in our room and biscuits . Wonderful view over a paddock . Had two outside areas to sit in the sun . Enjoyed an evening meal in the dining room . Food was really good and plenty to choose from . The next morning we had a huge breakfast provided as part of the stay . Including a machine coffee or a pot of tea and a glass of juice . Clare was a great host !

Great staff, very friendly. Room fine but 4 sets of stairs to reach it not so easy. Breakfast was fresh made and lovely. Bed not so comfy and you had to be very careful not to bang your head on the beams when moving around the room.
