A wonderful little set-up. I’ve never stayed anywhere like it…quite original. Good breakfast selection. Easy check-in. Comfortable beds. Lovely host who posted my coat back to me after I’d left it on the coat rack!

Very clean. The grounds are lovely and you can walk down the side to a wood at the bottom of the valley. Quiet. The continental breakfast was self-service, but really good food availability.

I come up weekly for uni. Kaye's place is a great location for my office. So easy to get to by bus from Durham city centre. It's surrounded by beautiful countryside so you really get the best of both. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The shared kitchen space is ideal for simple food prep. They are great hosts. Good communication. Everything is tidy, well maintained and cozy. Highly recommend. The views are breathtaking.
