The breakfast is incredible - highly recommended! It is staged, so be aware that slightly less flexible than some places, but definitely worth it. Cooking happens quietly in a kitchen which is visible off the breakfast room, which I always find reassuring. A lovely spread of continental too. The rooms are comfortable and well stocked. The situation and style of the house is incredible.

The guest house was decorated in keeping with the building. The host so friendly and accommodating, couldn’t have been more helpful. Exceptionally clean and a lovely breakfast, such good value for money. We will be back xx

It was our third stay at Farnley Tower and this time we stayed for five nights. We love the city view, the building, the nicely decorated rooms and the general atmosphere. Breakfast is good, with several vegetarian options (veggie full English, omelette, avocado toast) and there is also yoghurt, cornflakes, granola and some fruit. Anna (the manager) is very friendly and welcoming and the area is quiet but still conveniently close to the city centre. The Indian restaurant downstairs serves excellent food and you get a discount if you’re staying at the hotel. Farnley Tower is an absolute gem and we’re always a bit sad to leave.
