Great welcome, clean tidy, well-appointed room, nice bar, good food in restaurant, quiet, pleasant sleep, great breakfast, friendly staff.

Breakfast is excellent with a good menu of favourites. Had dinner both nights we stayed. Food is good 'pub style' generous portions and good. Room was compact - bed comfortable - carpet could do with a good clean. Bathroom okay - very compact (don't drop the soap in the shower) would be helpful to have hooks to hang up damp towels.
