We travelled to attend a funeral, but had lots to do on arrival in Durban. I let Fred know that we would be late. He was on top of things, calling to make sure I would not have any issues when we check in - which was after 21h30. Excellent communication, and we had no issues with our very late check in. The breakfast was top tier, the bed super comfortable, perfect location and a beautiful set up. We ill definitely go back there.

Everything is always an amazing and peaceful experience. The owner & manager are absolute wonderful warm hosts, also gave us some great suggestions on dog friendly beaches in the area! The staff especially Mama Vuma, goes over-and-above to ensure we are comfortable and well taken care off. More than highly recommended, home away from home!!!

Although we accidentally chose the wrong room, the manager was quick to assist us with a free upgrade. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Although it's quite a walk to the sea, there are plenty of facilities when you get there (although for some reason - probably because of the winter waves - I was not allowed to swim. The views from the room and balcony were amazing and there is a viewing platform. There is an excellent restaurant next door (you walk via the property) and the breakfast at the guest house was great. Generally, I would highly recommend this guest house to other travellers
