Attractive exterior. Kristi @ front desk was outstanding. hotel is close to restaurants, shops & attractions, within walking distance. comfy room. plenty of towels & toiletries. beautiful pool & hot tub in atrium. free cocktails in evening & hot breakfast in morning. Our kind of place!

We loved: the Happy Hour where we got to know other residents over our two night stay; the location of the hotel only five minutes walk to the Silverton train station; easy parking; good breakfast and all day coffee/hot chocolate machine outside the lift; comfortable beds and a good shower; friendly, helpful staff; very useful fridge in our room. I last stayed in Durango 25 years ago and much has changed but Main Street (a few minutes walk from hotel) is still fun to explore. We found a great open air first floor bar with lively atmosphere and good food only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Good pizza nearby too. All the rooms are located on the floors around and above the ground floor centrally located pool, so quite public if you want to swim! We had a balcony (dark) but it wasn't conducive to sitting out on it, so wouldn't rush to book a balcony again. Room rates were not cheap but the bonus of the Happy Hour and the convenience of the location and parking our car opposite the main entrance, definitely made our stay enjoyable, thank you.
