Had a great stay at the white Swan. Room was lovely and clean. Bed was comfortable and staff were brilliant. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and could not fault a thing. Food was exceptional.

This was a pleasant hotel in the main square of Duns which made an excellent overnight halt while travelling back home to northeast Scotland. For various reasons it had been better to leave the rest of the journey until next day, and the night's rest with a good dinner in their dining room was very satisfactory. Would recommend for anybody. At some point it would be good to spend more time in the Borders, perhaps, if possible, at this hotel!
