A beautiful, peaceful and quiet haven from which we could explore a great chunk of the country. We were warmly and kindly welcomed by the owners who weren't bothered by the fact we ran a bit late. If you need more space than a room in a hotel or b&b and want to enjoy a place where you can find some rest, I can strongly recommend Brightwater Lodge. It also offers the perfect starting point for lots of adventures and days out at just one hour from Edinburgh airport.

We loved our stay in this beautiful lodge in stunning surroundings. It was the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area, and the quiet and peaceful location was amazing for family time on an evening. The lodge was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were sad to leave!
