Great place to stay, central with lots of eating places to choose from close by. Clean & comfortable room, free parking & biggest bonus was the lift. I would stay again if visiting the area.

Loved the big old staircase and the room was fine if a little smaller than we might usually book. That said it was very clean and the staff at reception and breakfast room could not have been nicer or more helpful. This is an older hotel, if it were a whisky it would be called a classic. Well situated for the University and it's facilities. The breakfast was brilliant. Haggis, black pudding mushroom, bacon, sausages and eggs to your liking. Tattie scone too! Beautifully cooked.
