Does what it says on the tin. Wonderful view of Dumbarton Castle and the Clyde.

House was comfortable. The view towards the castle mount and the Clyde River was lovely. We used Scotrail from Dumbarton station into Glasgow centre. Free parking near the station and only £6 return. Would have explored more by train if we had stayed longer.

Premises were clean, quiet, homely and cosy with easy access to a “VERY LOCAL” hotel at the bottom of the road for breakfasts and evening meals, also great location to stroll down to the banks of The Clyde River and enjoy loverly scenic walks along the shoreline and not have to worry about parking charges as car parked up at premises. Stunning views across the river and across the mountains, brilliant observation point for a good set of binoculars to watch the opposite banks of the river and see the activity of river life from the warmth of an upstairs window, or just sit and relax downstairs with a view across the valley or sit in the lounge and enjoy quiet uninterrupted peaceful down time with a book or catch up with the world and watch undisturbed TV
