Beautiful house and ammenities! Wonderful breakfast. Lovely gardens. Able to wander freely around the huge garden. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. It was nice seeing the birds fly in to the feeder- we even saw a squirrel which we don’t see in Australia.

The tranquility of the surroundings, the offer of a cup of tea and scones on arrival (what a treat). The breakfast was excellent, and to top it all off was the comfort of the bed - sublime.

The welcome Devonshire scone on arrival was a nice touch! The full English Breakfast was freshly prepared and excellent. Eggs were done as requested. You will get fresh laid eggs if the hens laid them. The toast was delicious. The home-made jam and marmalade were very good. Our hosts, James and Amanda were welcoming and friendly. They showed their concern when one of us was not well. They really aimed to make our 4-night stay as comfortable as could be.
