Mila “Wonderful Stay – Felt Like a Home Away from Home”

The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with a fridge, a small kettle, and dishes. The location was absolutely perfect, just a short walk from the port, close to local markets, bakeries, coffee shops, and conveniently located near the bus stop to the Old Town. What truly made my stay exceptional was the hostess-teta Jela. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. She provided me with fantastic recommendations on how to make the most of my trip, including budget-friendly tips for restaurants and tourist attractions. When the TV wasn’t working, it was fixed immediately. My flight back to Ireland was really early in the morning, and Miss Jele and her daughter helped me to find the app to book the taxi. As a lovely personal touch, she even brought me fresh fruit, just because I mentioned I like watermelon, and a small gift as a memory from Dubrovnik. I truly felt welcomed and cared for. This place felt like a home away from home. I would stay here again!

The excellent location of the hostel allowed us to walk around the city, go to the beach (Sunset Beach) on foot, good location for restaurants. Breakfast was on us. Lovely beers.

We had an amazing stay with Nikolina and her mom, Jelle. They were extremely sweet and welcoming, and gave us numerous personalized tips on food, sights and boat trips in and around Dubrovnik, going far beyond our expectations. The room was quiet, their house relaxing and the neighborhood homely, as well as quite close to Old Town by bus. 100% recommended.
