Location and historic nature of the building. Beautiful rooftop terrace with amazing views. Overall lovely apartment in amazing place.

This apartment is situated in the historical centre of Dubrovnik. It has a rooftop terrace, which provides the breath taking view on the whole old city from the top. There are only 3 other terraces in Dubrovnik with such great view. This is the only reason to choose this apartment. The question is whether you want to pay so much for just a view in the uncomfortable, dark and dirty house. The whole apartmemt is equipped with furniture and equipment which is visibly long time used by the owners in the past and looks like when they stopped using this they moved it to the apartment. It's not directly unclean, but very worn out the equipment is not nice to look at, flowers are dead and dried..... many equipment pieces rusty....The feeling of us in this house was far not as good as we expected. I attach some pictures for you to understand. When you enter the apartment you smell some unpleasant bad smell like a mold, but you will get used to it after a while. The house is very small, and since 3 rooms are closed by the owner for himself, you practically live on the stairs only and there is not even enough free place to open and unpack your luggage (besides the bed) The owner promised us to have some welcome wine, but it was not there, when we asked him for, he was very sorry and promised us to bring it next day, what did not happened again. When we reminded him again, he explained that this is mistake of the cleaning lady, not his..... :-) Luckily we did not have any real issue to solve with him, not sure whether this is his standard way of "supporting" the guests.

The roof terrace!!!!! Absolutely amazing views and makes this property what it is!! It is a very old building in a very old town but the facilities in the property are everything you need for a city stay.
