The lodge was very warm cosy and comfortable. The location is very peaceful and Matt & Cheryl could not do enough to Ensure we enjoyed our stay and the beautiful area. If you love horses and want to Trekk don’t forgot to book. The pubs and the food close by are also excellent.

It was spotlessly clean, comfy bed, lovely crisp bed linen and good quality towels. Good sized shower. It had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The local bread and milk, along with fruit were appreciated. The hosts Matt & Cheryl, were very welcoming, friendly and informative of the local area and eating places.

Hosts were very welcoming, and there was a fruit bowl, bread and local milk on arrival which was most welcome. Bed was very comfortable, cabin was spotlessly clean. Water pressure and shower very good. Interesting siding and old railway bridge very short walk away.
