We had a fantastic stay at the Coastguard Cottages in Downings. The accommodation was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable — you can tell it’s well cared for. Seamus, our host, was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. He made sure we had everything we needed and gave us great local tips. The location is ideal: just a short walk or drive to Downings village, with amazing views right on your doorstep. It’s also perfect for golfers — Rosapenna Golf Club is right nearby. Couldn’t recommend it more for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway in Donegal. We’ll definitely be back.
