Special location in an almost entirely abandoned desert village on the very edge to the Sahara! Great rooftop terrace with view and living room. Mohammed is very welcoming. Traditional breakfast. Heater in the room for stays in winter. Very aesthetically decorated.

The host is wonderful, very friendly, discreet, reliable and in love with the desert! I thought, I was really lucky that he took me into the desert alone on an amazingly authentic trekking (usually in my experience you can't organise this as a solo traveller) for a very fair price. We were walking right from the house into the desert and back, camels for carrying the luggage, camping two nights in the desert... it's absolutely worth while! The guest house is nice and has everything you need. The private transport to Tozeur I booked beforehand worked just fine and I regret not having booked the private transport to Douz through him as well.
