Beautiful chalet in front of the lake separated by a road and bike path. Location is on the quieter side of lake Annecy. This was not an issue for us because we had a car (essential) and ours was a pure cycling holiday. Location is ideal for riding into the mountain passes South & East of the lake, Cormet de Roseland, Col de la Madeleine, Col des Aravis, Col de la Colombiere etc. Stunning views of the lake and mountains. Check in was relatively simple and owner was very responsive to all my queries. Chalet kitchen is fully stocked up if you enjoy cooking. Lovely patio overlooking the lake. Great place to hang out. Few points to note for future visitors: 1. There are only 2 bathrooms. Lower level bathroom is ensuite but toilet is outside next to the kitchen. Bathroom upstairs is not ensuite and shared between 3 bedrooms. There were only 3 of us using the chalet so this was not an issue but do take note if your group is bigger.
