What can I say, what a fantastic place, the owner was a lovely chap, so friendly and helpful. The whole place is a real credit to them, it's just such a nice place to spend time. An older property with bags of character that had been brought up to date sympathetically and with oodles of taste. We were greeted with a warm reception and made comfortable from the offset, we had fresh coffee, tea and biscuits in the library, looking out to the glorious countryside. The African theme running throughout the property was amazing, lovely hand drawn pictures and paintings hung on the walls and the room itself was no exception, such a pleasant room and spotlessly clean. Tastefully decorated and furnished, oozed quality. The bed was lovely and comfortable and we both slept like logs :) and the breakfast the next morning was just perfect too ! I really can't fault anything about this guest house, it's a real treasure !! Jason & Lynne, Lochmaben.
