Gavin and Monica were very welcoming. The lodge was remote and tranquil, with plenty of parking with beautiful views from the balcony. The room was very spacious with a patio door leading onto the balcony terrace. Lovely comfortable bed and large shower room. The breakfast was delicious and one of the best I've tasted. Plenty of places to eat in Dornoch which is only 2 miles away.

We stayed in Loch Fleet room and it had a lovely view of the loch and was a spacious, clean and very comfortable room with a comfy bed. It was very quiet and peaceful and meant we got a good nights sleep. It also had a bench on the decking, outside our room and it was very pleasant sitting out in an evening and enjoying the views. Monica and Gavin were very friendly hosts and we had a very enjoyable stay! The breakfast was really nice, with a good choice and ordered the night before. Dornoch is a very nice village and has a choice of eateries and is a short drive away for evening meals.

The owner Gavin and his wife were delightful. Warm and Welcoming-nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and well stocked, The room was quiet and in the morning the breakfast was simply lovely-cooked to order.
