Location out of this world, scenic and peaceful. meals with owners, home cooked, traditional. Fish straight from river, cooked same day. Everything natural and fresh.

Absolutely lovely experience and I have already planned a return visit. Gorgeous property with exquisite attention to every detail that makes each guest feel welcome and at home. The hosts and daugher were so kind and I will always remember how they made my stay so special. The rooms have perfect views of the lake, with lovely patio furniture and garden details to enjoy relaxing in the sun or gazing at the stars. There is plenty to do, and this lovely hotel would make a perfect "home base" for seeing many of the beautiful smaller, historical towns Portugal as to offer. I can't wait to return!
