A really spacious, comfortable room with everything we could need for our short stay. The food in the pub was also great and the staff all very friendly.

The staff were warm and friendly and very welcoming. The ambiance of the pub was again warm and welcoming with a lovely relaxed feel. The food was exceptional and a real find. They catered very well for my dietary requirements of being Gluten Free, Dairy Free and unable to eat Pork. The food offered to me offered no less a flavour or variety. It felt just as special to me as it did to my husband and son. Our room (number2) was perfect for the three of us, with a double bed in the bedroom, a shower over the bath in the bathroom and a single bed in the main living room, that was also equipped with a sofa and TV. The pub wasn't mad busy this evening but any busier and it 'may' have been a little noisy for the room with the single bed in, which sits above. He wasn't affected on this occasion. The beds were all super comfy with lovely clean and comfortable linens. The water hot and over all a very comfortable and specious room that we'd happily stay in again.

Absolutely superb stay on our cycling trip - honestly beyond our expectations. All staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Everything was high quality and our evening meal was superb.
