Characterful property situated in the High Street of historic Dorchester. Reasonably priced. Comfortable clean rooms. Friendly staff. No breakfast when I visited - but lots of cafes in close proximity. Would definitely return when next in area.

A superb location, right on the High Street (see below). Very (exceptionally) friendly staff at check in, superb room, clean and well equipped. Loved the decor, the sense of history, a great place to stop

The staff were very welcoming. The property seemed recently decorated and updated. The room & bathroom were clean, nicely organised and comfy. We stayed in the attic room on the 3rd floor, which had a great view of Dorchester rooftops if your into that kinda thing. Coffee & tea were free in the lounge area, which was also comfy. They don't do breakfast/dinner, but there were plenty of cafes around the top of town to choose from. Great area in Dorchester to stay, I'd stay again.

Lovely room and decor, good location, great staff. Lots of helpful info on where to have breakfast (or bring it in and eat in Canteen with good coffee. Excellent Italian /fish restaurant just down the road. We parked at Top of Town car park - only a few mins walk and very reasonable safe overnight parking.
