Wendy, the host, was once again superb—her warm hospitality truly makes Laurel’s Cottage a home away from home. It’s the thoughtful little touches that stand out, from the bottle of milk left for a welcoming cuppa on arrival to the crisp freshness of the towels and bedding. Even in the heat, I slept like a baby thanks to the well-ventilated top floor, ensuring a cool and comfortable night’s rest. Every visit feels just as special, and I can’t recommend this lovely cottage enough.

The thoughtful welcome with tea, coffee, and shortbread biscuits was a wonderful touch. The owner’s tour was exceptional, providing great insight and warmth. The cottage itself is absolutely charming—truly a home away from home. The interior design is delightful, perfectly blending style and comfort. Every detail, from the cozy furnishings to the tasteful décor, creates an inviting and relaxing atmosphere that made my stay exceptionally pleasant. It’s clear that great care has been taken to ensure the cottage offers both aesthetic appeal and a welcoming, comfortable environment.
