Location was perfect for us. Property was spotless and tastefully decorated. The hosts were always at the end of the phone if needed and they made us feel very welcome even before we arrived. They left all essentials for you in the lodge, tea, coffee, sugar, milk in the fridge and a nice touch was some shortbread, crisps and a bottle of wine. We were visiting family who recently moved into the area and we will definitely be trying to book the lodge again when coming back.

Great location with lots of walks from the lodge. The site was small and well maintained. The information provided in the cabin helped us find places to eat and things to do. The heating was good and despite freezing temperatures outside we were never cold as the lodge was cosy
