This is a lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The Alwadi is well located between the old town and Doha's new sustainable city. The ground floor has beautiful areas for relaxing. There is a good pool with attentive staff and a great roof bar. We had Iftar one evening which was very impressive - especially the desserts. Breakfast was delightful with a huge choice of delicious things to try. Shout out to Khurram and staff who made our breakfasts special. Rachana and Jezel were always super helpful and Jezel went out of her way to help when I thought I had lost my keys. (Found them a few days later). We would highly recommend staying here.

I absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. I originally booked two rooms for one night, but we enjoyed it so much that we decided to extend our stay. Jezel at reception was incredibly helpful in arranging the extension smoothly and professionally. I chose this hotel because two of my brothers had stayed here before and loved it — and now I completely understand why. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the atmosphere was welcoming throughout. I would also like to thank Imen, who assisted me during checkout. She was very kind and helpful, making the departure process easy and pleasant. Both Jezel and Imen truly made our experience even better. Highly recommended!

A big shoutout to Ghada and Salma for making our stay in Doha so special! Everything was seamless from start to finish. Housekeeping was always flexible and attentive, arriving at times that suited our schedule perfectly. As this was a birthday trip, they arranged a lovely room decoration and a cake, which was a really thoughtful touch. The location is great, especially if you want to be close to Souq Waqif. We also really appreciated the team holding our luggage while we spent two nights at Banana Island and until we left for the airport, thank you to the luggage staff for making it so easy. We had a wonderful experience, would highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely be returning!
