Lovely family apartment. Basic kitchen (No oven) but that doesn’t stop you enjoying a nice meal. Fabulous location. Supermarket and petrol just in the next town (15mins) Fabulous place to stay.

We were only staying overnight and arrived late. We could not immediately find the guest house as it was dark but the host saw us and showed us where to go.

What a spectaculair view over the fjord. Dream location. So quiet! The little wooden cabin is comfortable with a good bedroom, chairs to relax and a nice veranda to have breakfast. Although small, the kitchen and bathroom are okay. The family is very friendly and relaxed. We didn't want to leave after one night, but we had to. You should consider to stay here two nights or more. If we knew, we had booked really a few nights. In nearby Djupivogur (15 minutes drive) you can do some nice things like a kayak or bike tour with Arctic Fun of Maciej. Or visit the art galeries. Or walk around on the diamand black beach behind the air strip (hidden gem) and admire the stern colony. Of course there are enough waterfalls in the neighbourhood. But the nice thing is that there are hardly any tourists at all, but just a few to keep the local economy alive.

Convenient property short turn from Route 1. Property is clean. Apartment is a converted garage (2nd floor) so not exactly spacious for 4 pax, 2-3 will be ideal.
