I chose to reserve accommodation at White Sands Lodge because I needed a suitable stopover on my journey from Kasane to Windhoek. Other options in the vicinity of Popa Falls were available, but White Sands seemed most conveniently accessible from the main road (B8). On arrival, I quickly realised that convenient access was not the only reason to choose this option. The lodge provides very comfortable chalet accommodation with excellent facilities. These include the option to self-cater but we chose to have dinner at the restaurant overlooking the most attractive site of the cascade. The food was excellent, as was the service. Our only regret was that we were not able to stay longer and enjoy the environment and swimming pool.

The location and the food is excellent. The bungalows are comfortable and ours had a great view to the falls.

This lodge is located at the Popa falls. Great views on the small waterfalls. Every cabin has its own deck with a lot of privacy. The food was excellent with nice wines for a reasonable price. They are taking good care of you.

Superb location - right on the okavango river and the nearby falls. People travel in to experience the location. Wow! Surrounding location - easy access to Bwabwata and Mahango … both of which were great (we’d seen many NPs in Namibia and these were some of our favourites) Staff mainly super friendly - restaurant team are great. Food was excellent - we were impressed by every dish every evening.

The rooms are amazing, with astonishing views: you hear the water, you enjoy the sunset and the sunrise... You are surrounded by nature. The location is magical, with the Popa Falls and the incredible restaurant terrace next to the river. The staff are wonderful: so professional, so nice, so kind, so... everything! The sunset cruise is a must. Don't miss it! To sum up: lovely stay.

The property is within a nature reserve with an incredible view of the Cubango river and Popa Falls. While it is still in its soft opening stage (with some facilities to be developed), we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Ronny and the other staff were very helpful. Jessica is an excellent chef - fresh produce from their own garden, not fancy but down to earth. The property is managed with a heart to share with visitors instead of pure money making outlet.

I booked a campsite and stayed on two separate occasions. Its an excellent setup with great shower and seperate toilet facilities. With no intrusive light you great a fantastic view of the night sky. Staff were very helpful with nothing too difficult to answer.
