Gillian, the owner came out to carpark to greet us on arrival and showed us to our room. Room is beautiful, very big, clean and bright, It has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Bed very comfortable, lovely ensuite and shower. Guest House is situated across from Railway station, handy for commuting around area. Did not hear or be disturbed by any trains throughout the night. Lovely area. Gillian is an excellent hostess, very friendly and approachable. Great choice at breakfast: cereals, toast, yoghurt, fruit, croissants, toast, full cooked breakfast, tea and cafetiere coffee. Delicious.

Great location for our trip north. We enjoyed being able to eat our picnic tea on the tables outside. The owner was very friendly and was able to give us lots of info.

A great little find! A lovely place with a friendly & welcoming host just on the side of this small town. A nice relaxing overnight stay.
