We liked the guest house very much, the view at the mountains is beautiful, the host and other personnel very friendly and accommodating. The location is quiet, you can go for hikes in the vicinity, there are grocery shops you can get to on foot. They serve traditional Armenian food which was very good. All in all it was a very nice stay we will remember fondly.

We had a very nice stay at the charming Guest House Orran. The house is ideally located a bit out side of Dilijan, far from the crowd, about 5-8 minutes drive from downtown and in the intersection of other activities (trekking, monasteries, wine tasting, etc.) It’s calm and private. The common space is charming. The rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with everything we need. Our host was very nice and always ready to help us whenever we need. Breakfast can be a bit more expensive than at other places but it was the best breakfast of all the guest houses BF we had in Armenia. Diner is also delicious and local, the kind of homemade food you can’t find in restaurants.
