Extremly nice and helping hosts. The house is spacious, clean and fully equipped. We highly recomend Mutu Villa as a holiday destination both for a short or long term stay.

Very clean villa with excellent security, including a walled courtyard and lockable gate. The rooms are spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and good bathroom facilities. It’s about an 8-minute walk to Dickwella Beach and conveniently close to Cargills, as well as local fruit and vegetable shops. There’s a great roti shop nearby, and the STS Food Centre serves excellent rice and vegetable curries to takeaway. The owners were very communicative via WhatsApp, and the owner’s father kindly visited to change the gas bottle and take care of the garbage, which was much appreciated. We would have rebooked if there was availability.

Living in Mutu Villa was an amazing experience. Hosts were so friendly, nice and caring, they also helped us to come from the airport to the town. The house is big and cozy, you will have enough space to live and enjoy Sri Lanka. We cooked breakfasts in the kitchen every morning, it was so convenient. There's enough space to store food in the fridge. The villa is close to the Dikwella town, that is interesting to explore, we visited many local shops and the market on Saturday. The Dikwella beach is close, you can swim and enjoy sunsets there, also there are many cafes available for different budgets nearby. The Hiriketya beach is around 10-15 minutes walk, or you can take a tuk-tuk. It's a perfect place for surfing or hanging out in a cozy beach cafe. There are many souvenir shops and a small supermarket there. The place is popular among European tourists. Apart from that there's a huge temple, turtle point, Blue beach island nearby, you can easily reach them and have a great time.
