This is a really nice hotel. Its got a lovely vibe. I organised a one night stay as part of a cycle across France and it was all very seamless in terms of arrival and checking in. They speak no English, which is fine for me but do be prepared for that. I think for couples this place for a couple of nights would be amazing. Loads of good wine to sample, although we couldn't due to the ride. The breakfast was fantastic, probably the best on the ride. The town was lovely but totally dead due to time of year but we did get a meal in at a local eatery, wasnt that great. Rooms were lovely and bathrooms spic and span.

The staff were uniformly professional and helpful. The head waiter for dinner was terrific and the dinner was truly exceptional! The location for us as cyclists was ideal being so close to the Eurovelo 6 route. The adjacent bar direct by the Loire was excellent and reasonably priced.
