I wasn't sure what to expect as there are not actually any pictures of the exterior of the property, but I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. It was walkable from the train station and had everything that my family needed for an a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The Lodge was comfortable enough for our party of three adults. Two double beds with one being ensuite, the other in the open plan kitchen/living area. All the basic facilities were there for snack type meals. Property clean, fresh looking, and warm. TV's/Wi-Fi etc, etc. Located and enclosed in the private, secluded garden area behind the main property off the Wantage Road. The host was easily contactable by messaging with any requests.

The lodge was lovely and had everything you needed for our stay. Really clean and good location for our requirements. Questions answered quickly and the information for check in was spot on. We would definitely return if we are in this area again. Only slight negative is we hadn't realised there was a pub next door so noise until 1am on Friday and Saturday night but it didn't spoil our stay.

super cosy and perfect for me and my friend for the weekend attending a nearby event. had a great night sleep (usually struggle when away) and had everything I needed in the kitchenette. super clean too
