Great location right on the beach. Large room with spacious balcony looking out over garden to the sea. Lovely touch of a coconut on arrival. Highly recommend if you prefer peaceful accommodation.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Balance Beach Resort in Dickwella. The property and rooms are impeccably maintained, but the real magic lies in the location. Situated just a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride from Hiriketiya, it offers the "best of both worlds": close enough to enjoy the local energy, yet far enough to escape the noise. The resort offers direct access to a beautiful, quiet stretch of beach that feels incredibly peaceful. The sunset views from the balcony are stunning, and being just steps from the sand is a rare treat. Pro tip: Switch off the AC, open the windows, and let the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves lull you to sleep—it is pure heaven. Our host, Lucia, was a highlight of our trip. She is incredibly knowledgeable and provides honest, expert recommendations for everything from local gems to excursions as far as Ella. Once you’ve made a plan, she organizes everything seamlessly. We also highly recommend her professional yoga sessions held right on the property. While time didn't permit us to try the in-house Ayurvedic treatments this visit, they are top of our list for next time. To top it all off, the quality of the breakfast and lunch was exceptional. We can’t wait to return!
