Resort Overview

Located on Diani Beach with panoramic ocean views, Waterlovers Beach Resort offers an outdoor pool, a restaurant and free WiFi. The resort is 35 km away from Mombasa.

Three-Bedroom Villa - enter dates to see room photos

On the ground floor, the villa has two bedrooms with AC, an adjoining door, and en-suite bathrooms, as well as a open verandah with living area. The upper floor is an open gallery with two king size beds and a third bathroom complete with shower. All beds on this upper floor have mosquito nets but no AC, as the design is open to the natural elements surrounding the villa. The villa offers a fully equipped kitchen with fridge and gas oven. The dining area has a carved, wooden dining table.

One-Bedroom Suite with Ocean View - enter dates to see room photos

These suites offer a private verandah with ocean view. They are equipped with a an AC, fan, and mosquito nets. The bathroom has a stone shower and double washbasin. All rooms have a king size bed. The ground floor suites can be equipped with an extra bed for one person. The top floor suites have a third bed, which is 80x188cm, that doubles as a bed and/or a daybed/sofa.

This spacious apartment comprises 1 living room, 4 separate bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a shower and free toiletries. Meals can be prepared in the well-fitted kitchen, which comes with a stovetop, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and kitchenware. The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel at home right away. I had forgotten to put in my booking that we had our 1 year old daughter with us and the staff were not fazed at all. We arrived very late but they had thought ahead to ask the driver who collected us from Mombasa to take our order for dinner so there was food for us when we arrived even though the kitchen had closed. The hotel is really beautiful and has an amazing view of the sea. The way the sunbeds and pool is laid out it feels like you are on the beach without actually being on the beach. If you wish to get in the sea it is just down some steps. The staff helped us with all encounters with the hawkers on the beach. It is definitely the most beautiful of the resorts in the area that we saw online and in real life when we explored the area. It looks exactly like the pictures which I have found is not always the case with hotels on booking.com. The food was really good and was much better than what we had been eating on safari and in Nairobi. The highlights were the prawns and tuna. We would have enjoyed a little more variety and African influenced food on the menu but there were daily specials which hit the spot. The staff did seem a little hurt when we had dinner out one night (there's a really good Korean restaurant just at the end of the driveway to the hotel). As the hotel is so small it is understandable that they would want you to eat/spend money with them rather than elsewhere.

This place is so serene and peaceful, you relax the moment you step in. Service is impeccable and the staff really are what makes the experience outstanding. Food is really good and the view from the balconies is incredible. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The place is amazing!!! They room as super well decorated with african art. Bed is huge. The room has a huge terrasse with a view towards the beach. The wash room is amazing. It has robes, beach bags, the stone shower is amazing. The hotel has a changing room close to the beach with a shower so you can shower there. The free breakfast is super good and they also offer free snack in the evening. The staff is really really nice. When u leave they offer you a keychain.
