“Brilliant holiday, can’t wait to go back”

The outside pool area was perfect for our family we spent all of our time out there was perfect for eating as a group of 10, the kids where never out the pool. We all loved to see the goats in the morning passing by then returning in the evening. The table tennis was a bonus too and lots of fun with that. It was only a 10 min walk to the shops, restaurants and beach perfect location. The host Kseniia was lovely we arrived late at night and she met us and provided us with a basket of food and drink for the morning. On the day we went home we had a very late flight so she arranged for us to be picked up and we spent the day her hotel for free we met her family who was all lovely. George the owner came round every day and cleaned the pool. We had a fantastic holiday at villa Elia and would definitely go again

If you want peace and tranquility then Villa Elia is the place to go. The villa is beautiful and very well proportioned, the 4 bedrooms are very roomy with 2 featuring ensuite shower/bathrooms. The outside area is very clean and well thought-out with the swimming pool a dominant and must have feature. The nearest shops, bars and restaurants are a 10 minute walk away as is the beach. The nearby bus stop will take you into Georgioupoli or along to Rethymnon, but most of the time we stayed local or splashed out on the short taxi ride (only 8 euros). Geogios the villa owner greeted us on our arrival and handed over 2 litres of wine, 2 litres of raki and 2 litres of olive oil. All from his own farm, He was great and gave us loads of information about the surrounding area.
