Sun Siyam Vilu Reef is accessible via seaplane or domestic flight: Seaplane Transfer operates only during daylight hours, between 06:00 and 18:00.To ensure a smooth transfer, guests must arrive in Malé early enough to connect to the seaplane.Earliest outbound international flights from Malé should be after 09:00. Last seaplane departs Vilu Reef at approximately between 14:00 and 15:00. Guests arriving too late to catch the final seaplane (check-in at TMA terminal is required by 16:00) will need to overnight in Malé or Hulhumalé, or stay at the airport. The transfer will then be arranged for the following morning. Domestic Flight Option: Domestic flight transfers are available for evening arrivals. Please contact us if your international flight lands late. The resort may charge 100% of the accommodation and transfer fee at the time of booking.A secure payment link will be sent via email; please complete payment within 48 hours to avoid cancellation. For last-minute bookings, the provided credit card may be charged directly. Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking upon check-in. I would like to leave a positive review about my stay at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef from June 23rd to June 30th, 2025. I stayed with my 15-year-old daughter, just the two of us. Everything—from being greeted by the hotel representative at the airport to our departure—was excellent! Every staff member was so thoughtful to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The entire Sun Siyam Vilu Reef team is extremely friendly and welcoming; always with a genuine smile, every day we felt sincere kindness, a willingness to help, and a desire to make our stay on the island truly unforgettable. As someone who works in the food service industry, service and food quality are very important to me. In Sun Siyam Vilu Reef everything was always top-notch! Chef Caminda, your curries and Sri Lankan dishes will forever remain in our hearts! It is quite rare to find such a variety of delicious traditional food, with a focus on health and quality. There were all sorts of curries, amazing vegan dishes, plant-based options, and a huge selection of familiar European cuisine. The balance and flavors were perfect. Absolutely delicious! Guys Praveen, Asmitha and Dilshan, thank you so much for your care, attention, and kindness towards the guests—it means a lot. Your genuine care truly made our holiday memorable. The villa was always impeccably cleaned thanks to Matiur - all of the lovely touches like the decorated bed and complimentary cookies left us with the warmest feelings. Every day we felt like very valued and welcome guests. As for the island itself—if you are looking for tranquility, peace, the clearest ocean, and, most importantly, a stunningly beautiful reef, this is the place for you. This was our sixth trip to the Maldives. We have previously stayed at Royal Island, Kurumba, Velassaru, Baros, and Cocopalm Dhunikolhu, and I can say that Vilu Reef has one of the best snorkeling spots.

Food was great overall, really liked the differently themed nights, there was always plant based foods available, we always had great selection. The staff and the overall service was exceptional. I would like to specially thank to Asmita, Maan, Praveen, Vijay and Chef Nittin Jain at the Aqua restaurant, you really made our stay feel like we're cared for. The island is beautiful, well maintained and the reef is really nice, snorkeling is good especially on the southern, eastern side of the island. Accommodations were gorgeous and clean (I was almost thinking it was too clean in some cases :) )
