I booked one room for 2 nights but wasn't able to arrive until the second night. I arrived on the second night with friends who also wanted to book a room there. Instead of charging for the second room, they gave it to us for free in lieu of the first nights accommodation (2 rooms for 1 night instead of 1 room for 2 nights). I was very surprised by their generosity as it was my fault that I couldn't arrive the first night. The food was also incredible. Excellent quality and the quantity was insane. It's even more impressive when considering the remotness of the hotel. By far the best accommodation I stayed at during my entire holiday throughout India and Nepal. The customer service couldn't have been better.

the property was easily accessible and the staff, the rooms, the amenities, and the view were spectacular. we would recommend their food over anything found in town...the care, presentation, preparation and attention to detail was commendable.

Food was amazing. Rooftop view of maitreya buddha statue and monastery was good. Room was comfortable. Hot water readily available. Wifi was working fine. Parking space was available.
