Literally one of the best places I have ever been in my life! I am so glad I chose this hotel for my stay in Sinharaja. I planned to stay 1 night then I extended it with once more. You have a stunning view. The family who runs the place are super kind, loving people. We even cooked together amazing Sri Lankan dishes, and the wife Mesha cooks incredibly tasty food. Saman, the husband took me for the rainforest tour and he is a great guide with much experience and he pays a lot of attention on his surroundings, you will definitely will see a lot of animals with him! I highly recommend their place and I hope I can also come back one day! ❤️

Wow, what can I say. Accommodation was beautiful, photos are accurate, Food was amazing, Rainforest tours were unbelievable. Saman has such passion for the flora & fauna of the rainforest. We had such an adventure running through the rainforest to spot the incredibly rare Blue Magpie. Saman’s excitement is infectious. Finally the amazing Saman & Umesha. I can’t convey how special they are. So loving but with a fun sense of humour. This was definitely our best stay in Sri Lanka.

This stay was an absolute highlight of our trip through Sri Lanka. The family running the place was incredibly warm and welcoming, truly kind people who made us feel right at home without ever being intrusive. The food was freshly prepared with so much care, and every meal tasted wonderful. Saman, the owner and also our guide for the rainforest tour, was exceptional: knowledgeable, respectful, and genuinely passionate about nature. He is also a great photographer. Just give him your phone, and he will capture amazing pictures of the animals. He even shared useful tips with other guides during the tour, which shows how experienced and dedicated he is. We truly wish we could have stayed longer.
