Historic B and B run by the former mayor of the town and his wife (the cook!). The meals are a bit pricey if you aren't a big eater, but the dinner was well worth it and for supporting a local business, I felt good about spending the money. Three courses and better than most restaurants. Osman brought us a bottle of his own wine.

turkish tourism is still down despite the weaker lira, so we found ourselves the only guests at this excellent farm hotel. the building is stone and ancient, full of intricate details. the garden is extensive and packed full of fruit trees and an array of lovely animals. the two dinners we had here are the best we have had in turkey (both hands down now?), and eating carefully crafted meals at the open balcony, with a view of the sea and the lagoon, is an great experience. hosts (ali, hussain and osman) are most kind and solicitous. highly recommended!
