A very cozy accommodation with amazing view of the mountains. It is quite isolated so it is perfect to take a break and relax here. It is also 10 min drive from Colico which is perfect. We had a wonderful time.

My husband and I needed a place to rest and reset, a place away and a place where the kids could have freedom to play and explore outside. This was all that and more. With 4 kids ages 18-7 we all found things to do together and space to retreat. It was close enough to the lake that we could do touristy things but hidden away enough and in nature that we really felt like we got away. The host was so kind and gracious. It was like a peaceful rustic cabin in the woods Italian style. So grateful for this great deal. We visited the waterfalls a couple of times each day. I hope we'll be back again. Definitely a favorite for our family.

The home itself was quite nice and comfortable for our family of six; we actually had more beds than we needed and plenty of room. There was hiking that could be done right out from the front door, which we did. We liked that the property owner had another two pieces of property that our kids could run around on and explore; that was really nice for them, and us! The view was pretty as well. The property owner was very helpful, giving us plenty of ideas of things to do. The home is located near Colico, which is a smaller town on Lake Como, but several lovely restaurants. I liked that it didn't seem very touristy to us at all. It was a positive for us too that the home was out a bit from the lake and town, and our kids could just go outside and explore!
