Holed Up At The Bank is a step back in time to the early 20th century. A must for history buffs, the parlour (which was the front customer area of the bank) was well appointed with plenty of board games, including a chess set, TV, DVD's and books. Opulence was around every corner and included a well appointed kitchen, bathroom, laundry and four bedrooms (two with log fireplaces), each with its own colour schemes and style. The outside table seats 8 and has it's own fire area for colder nights. There's a vegetable patch and games (ping pong and dart board) area.

We had a very comfortable stay at Holed up at the Bank. We had the whole place to ourselves! It is very atmospheric (almost eerie late at night) - it feels like you're stepping back in time. Our bed was very comfortable. Deepwater is a lovely little town - make sure you pay a visit to the antiques store across the road, and try the excellent pies at the bakery down the road.
