The place has its own character, and is one of the best places to sleep if you are planning to visit death valley. Beds are comfy, each room has its own bathroom and entrance. Rooms and bathrooms are clean.

No TV in the room, no fridge in room. Very unique place in some way interested. Good, quiet place.

This place is an EXPERIENCE! 100 year old building in a ghost town and 100% authentic, pure magic. It was amazing to learn the history of Marta Becket, see her personality museum and even with the possibility to visit the historic opera venue! The staff was friendly and funny, they answered all the questions we had, plus the kitchen had a fridge and shared coffee even if the rooms are plain and simple - they are comfy and clean. If you are looking for something authentic with true spirit - there is nothing better in the middle of the hottest desert of the world.

I visited 12 years ago and it's still the same. You do not go there for a 5 star experience but for the quirkiness and atmosphere. Haunting history, great guided tour of the opera house, location in the middle of nowhere. I think it's a must do if you are
