We liked the peaceful location, the staff, the comforts, large lounge, dining table mini fridge, fresh milk, home-made and wide range of breakfast choices, views, horses. We didn't like the lack of bedside table and light on left side of bed, small room. There was a mixup about the beds. I thought we were getting a twin room, I selected a deluxe Double or Twin with the twin option, the photos on booking.com showed only twin beds in that room. But owner was very willing to everything she could to make bed comfortable but was unable to make up as twins..

Sandra is a fabulous host and the breakfast is spectacular! Our room had everything we needed and more! Generous tea and coffee selections, fresh milk in the little fridge, bottled water, fluffy towels, toiletries, lovely pillows, super comfy bed, a great shower, a decent hairdryer…..honestly it was fab! 😊

The absolute lap of luxury! A generously sized room with a view of horses, sheep, and rolling hills, a gloriously comfy four poster bed to myself, plenty of wardrobe space. Wonderfully rural and quiet. An enormous deep freestanding bath tub, with luxury towels and shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. A sloe gin nightcap on the house. A plug socket next to the bed. Fresh fair-trade real coffee in the room, plus an execllent assortment of teas and Horlicks. A fridge with a little bottle of milk rather than those little uht things. A delicious choice of breakfast (veggie and vegan catered for too) that totally filled me up, plus a choice of freshly made pastries or sausage rolls to take with me for the day. Sandra was the perfect hostess. Friendly, chatty, and loves what she does, and it really shows! Thank you. I will be back!

Slept like a log until storm darragh started battering the place. Cannot fault a single part of my stay. It was perfect. And that breakfast deserves an 11/10

The host was welcoming and little extras made the stay exceptional. Breakfast was amazing. The bed was comfy and so nice and quiet at night.
