Bed was very comfortable ; towels were lovely and fluffy and spare towels were available if we needed them. The breakfast was absolutely superb and it was lovely to have some takeaway bags especially as we were attending a wedding where the wedding breakfast was late in the afternoon. Also we had bottles of water that were replenished and a small bottle of milk for tea - brilliant.

Ideal location just a few minutes drive from Daventry, where I was to meet work colleagues the following day, all of whom usually book the Mercure hotel in town. Catesby Farm is in a lovely, quiet hamlet in a picturesque location. I had dinner at the local Countryman pub, which was very decent. In fact, rather than try to find somewhere more mundane in Daventry, my colleagues came over to this pub, which they have used before and also recommend. The B&B itself couldn't be nicer. The room was spotless, really well supplied with tea, coffee, milk etc. (and even a little decanter of homemade sloe gin!). The breakfast was incredible. I was offered overnight oats to go with a very generous eggs benedict, and more coffee than I could manage. I doubt I've ever eaten so well in a hotel! Also, you will not find a more lovely and friendly (and helpful) host. In short, I will undoubtedly be back whenever I am next working in this part of the world.

The location, the comfortable property, the amenities and the outstanding breakfast selection on offer. Sandra’s pleasant demeanour and cooking and baking skills for breakfast were exceptional. Her home has a large comfortable lounge in which to relax and the room was light and had pleasant views. We had a fabulous one night stay… would recommend!
