The reception girls were very friendly and nice. The location is awesome. Unique building. I love the ground floor with the running water and lush garden, with seating within.

The place is old & tired & desperately needs refurbishment. I was fortunate to have a refurbished room. Number 201. The shower needs a place to rest shampoos etc. the shower hand held attachment was made for someone over 6ft tall!!! The atrium of the hotel desperately needs an upgrade & so does the pool area. There were no clean pool towels at the pool only used towels left lying around. My friend was staying @ the Hilton further up the Esplanade & we had pre dinner drinks there & it had a much more welcoming vibe

Location of the property was excellent as we were able to walk to most of the major tourist attractions such as crocosaurus cove and darwin waterfront which included the water park ,RFDS and underground tunnels. Shopping and entertainment areas were located in the street behind the hotel making for easy access. We particularly enjoyed the window seat located in our room which overlooked the esplanade. We didn't have the breakfast at the hotel but it seemed very popular with other guests at the hotel especially the outdoor dining area.
