The hotel has no shops or places to eat around there. We travelled 3 hours to the hotel by public transport to get there & a notice was up saying no food in the restaurant all weekend. With no means of transport we were stuck hungry for the evening with the only thing to buy at reception was a pot noddle! Why was we not contacted before hand to warn us the restaurant would be closed so we could have made other arrangements?? I would like a reply please.

I booked this place for 1 night simply to stay after a late flight home from Gatwick. The room was clean and comfortable and it was a very good price so we were happy. However, i was surprised to be charged for parking when we arrived as i saw no mention of a charge on booking. The information did state, a quiet street view, it was reasonably quiet through the night but by 6am the road noise was not at all quiet. Also, the bathroom door did not close properly.

I chose this Hotel because of the positive reviews and I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. I didn't drive but yet it was easy to get to from Greehithe Train Station. We also chose this Hotel because we simply needed somewhere without the bells and whistles. It was clean, it had tea making facilities, TV, shower and bath and wardrobe. I exceeded my expectations. The young man who took our food order was great. He was friendly yet professional and lovely with my daughter. The reason for not giving ten is because the food on arrival was not the best. The chips were lovely but the chicken wings were just deep fried with little flavour. However, the breakfast was really good but don't expect premium ingredients. I would stay here again and would recommend it.
