Our sojourn at Rani Kothi in Darjeeling was nothing short of enchanting. This exquisite abode, with its beautifully preserved wooden floors and antique furniture, transported us to a bygone era, evoking a deep sense of nostalgia. The heritage property's rich history, intricately linked to the Burdwan royal family, was palpable in every detail, allowing us to connect with the legacy of the kings and queens who once inhabited this majestic estate. The staff at Rani Kothi were exceptional, providing outstanding service with a warm and welcoming demeanor. The manager, Mr.Nitesh and Mojesh in particular, stood out for their exceptional helpfulness and willingness to go above and beyond their regular duties to ensure a seamless experience. Their dedication and commitment to guest satisfaction were truly impressive. We appreciated their efforts and would highly recommend Rani Kothi to others, looking forward to returning in the future..

Great hospitality, great staff, peaceful and ambience was exceptional! The historic heritage has it's own vibe which you will definitely feel. Rooms are big and clean with all basic amenities. Definitely one of the best places to stay around Darjeeling if you love peace and tranquility. Plenty of parking available too. Recommended for all - friends, couple and family!!

My recent stay at Rani Kothi (Burdwan Palace) in Darjeeling was truly delightful. Nestled in a peaceful corner of the town, this 250 years old heritage property offers a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort. The ambience is serene, with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and lush greenery. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with wooden floors and vintage furniture that added a nostalgic touch. The staff was courteous, always ready to help with a smile. I particularly would like to appreciate Mojesh for his prompt room service and the everlasting smile he had on his face. Overall, I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. I would recommend Rani Kothi to anyone looking for a quiet retreat with a heritage feel in the heart of Darjeeling.
